PROGRAM	DESCRIPTION
Introduction to Healthcare Education	This course is designed for professionals who want to expand their ability to teach and/or manage the education function within the clinical setting. This extensive workshop will enable the participant to prepare a curriculum that meets the standards for ANCC Nursing Continuing Professional Development and other accrediting organization.
Care of the Psychiatric Patient in Acute Care	This workshop addresses caring for the patient with behavioral health/psychiatric needs in the Acute Care, Post-Acute Care, or Outpatient setting
Care of the Patient Requiring Restraints	This session reviews the clinical guidelines and regulations for caring for the patient who requires mechanical restraints in order to prevent harm to themselves or others.
Crisis Intervention in the Workplace	This series of programs addresses the prevention of workplace violence and managing escalating/aggressive behaviors in the healthcare setting. The programs are continually updated to meet the latest regulations from OSHA and The Joint Commission. Programs are customized for specific populations including Home Care Agencies.
Psychiatric Nursing Certification Review Course	This program is designed to prepare the experienced psychiatric nurse to take and pass the ANCC Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Certification examination.
Ambulatory Surgery Centers/Perioperative Nursing	Our specialized team in perioperative nursing can provide the following services: review and develop policies and procedures; implement preventative safety measures; risk management strategies; apply clinical and leadership expertise to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes; provide clinical training including competency assessment and opportunities for nursing continuing professional development. We offer onsite training and consultation with one of our clinical nurse leaders. Our perioperative team includes a former VP of nursing at a local hospital who is available to assist you in meeting your goals.
Oncology Nursing	Our oncology expert can provide a basic introduction for all nurses with the Chemotherapy Safety course or an in-depth review for experienced oncology nurses who are preparing for the ONS certification course.
